# Auth.md — Smart Glasses Atlas agent access

## Authentication and registration

Public product research requires no login, API key, agent account or registration.
This site does not operate an OAuth authorization server or protected MCP resources.
No OAuth token, payment information or personal shopper data should be sent here.
Amazon, eBay and other partner credentials are private infrastructure credentials;
they do not grant visitors access to partner accounts.

## Read-only MCP tools

Connect to **https://smartglassesatlas.com/mcp** using MCP Streamable HTTP.
Send POST requests with `Content-Type: application/json` and
`Accept: application/json, text/event-stream`. Initialize with a supported MCP
protocol version, then use `tools/list`, `tools/call`, `resources/list` or
`resources/read`. The server is stateless: no session ID is needed. SSE listening
and server-initiated notifications are not supported. Request bodies are limited
to 16 KiB.

- `find_smart_glasses`: required `country`; optional `language` (default `en`),
  `query`, `use_case`, `category`, `required_features` and `limit` (1–10, default 5).
  Results follow catalog order, not a performance ranking. Regional software
  unknowns do not satisfy required-software filters. Hardware filters use the
  documented global specification unless regional restrictions are published.
- `compare_smart_glasses`: required `country` and `model_ids` (2–3 distinct IDs);
  optional `language`.
- `get_buying_links`: required `country` and `model_id`; optional `language`.

Country and content language are independent. Use `GB` for the United Kingdom.
Read `tools/list` for accepted countries, languages and complete input schemas.
The same tools are registered through WebMCP in supporting browsers; normal
browsers continue to use the existing website. These browser tools fetch public
data only when invoked and do not perform purchases or generate affiliate clicks.

## Sources, prices and commercial links

Product facts are source-checked, not necessarily physically tested. Cite the
individual product page, dated evidence and original source. Regional software
support can remain unknown even when hardware globally advertises a feature.
Editorial availability is not live stock. Prices are indicative, may fall back
to another market's currency, and can exclude shipping, taxes and accessories.
Unknown battery life, dimensions or subscription costs must remain unknown.

Some retailer links earn commissions. Disclose this relationship and preserve
URLs exactly, including tracking and regional parameters. Brand-store links
are not offers for a specific product. Confirm the variant, stock, taxes,
shipping, subscription and current price with the retailer. Orders, payments,
returns and account actions occur at the retailer; these tools cannot buy items.
